Privacy policy

This policy explains what information SaveItIndia (“we”, “us”) handles when you use this website. In short: you do not need an account, we do not ask for your personal details, and we do not sell your data.

Information we handle

Calculator inputs. Figures you enter into a calculator, such as a loan amount or interest rate, are processed in your browser. They are not sent to our servers or stored.

Search queries. When you search for a bank, branch or IFSC code, your search text is sent to our server so we can return results. We do not link searches to you as a person.

Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical details of each request, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to keep the site running securely and to diagnose problems.

Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it only to respond to you.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service from Google, to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are viewed and how visitors find us. It uses cookies (such as _ga) and similar technologies to collect information including the pages you view, your approximate location (city or region), your device and browser type, and the website that referred you. Google states that Analytics 4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.

This information is processed by Google and we use it only in aggregate to improve the site, not to identify you. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser settings. We do not run advertising on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

Third parties and links

The site is hosted by a third-party hosting provider that processes the server logs described above. Google provides our analytics service, as described above. Our pages may link to other websites, such as a bank's site or a data source. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

How long we keep information

Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own retention rules. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your message.

Your choices

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by contacting us. Because we do not collect accounts or profiles, this will usually be limited to any emails you have sent us.

Children

This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
